    color depth causes audio problem

    I had some experiment adjusting different settings in the display & sound setting menu and noticed that when I set the colour depth to 36 bits per pixel, the output audio would irregularly pops or glitches. I'm currently using the pc monitor as the main
    display and my hdmi cable does support 36 bits color depth. However, the audio issue would not occur when i set the color depth to 30 bits per pixel. I hope this information helps to fix this audio issue as I do notice the color depth different between 30
    and 36 bits setting.

    Kinect 2

    I've found some comparisons of the two Kinects, but still nothing on physical dimensions:

    .

    Nex gen Kinect
    Field of View: 70˚ horizontal by 60˚ vertical

    Resolvable Depth: 0.8 m -> 4.0 m

    Colour Stream: 1920 x 1080 x 16 bpp 16:9 YUY2 @ 30 fps

    Depth Stream: 512 x 424 x 16 bpp, 13-bit depth

    Infrared Stream: 512 x 424, 11-bit dynamic range

    Registration: Colour <-> depth and active IR

    Audio Capture: 4-mic array returning 48K Hz audio

    Data Path: USB 3.0

    Latency: ~60 ms with processing

    Tilt Motor: No tilt motor

    Current gen Kinect
    Field of View: 57.5˚ horizontal by 43.5˚ vertical

    Resolvable Depth: 0.8 m -> 4.0 m (in fact the Kinect for Windows device can detect starting at 0.4 m)

    Colour Stream: 640 x 480 x 24 bpp 4:3 RGB @ 30fps640 x 480 x 16 bpp 4:3 YUV @ 15fps

    Depth Stream: 320 x 240 16 bpp, 13-bit depth (in fact this is 640×480 from the current Kinect for Windows SDK)

    Infrared Stream: No IR stream (in fact this is accesible from the current Kinect for Windows SDK just not simultaneously with the video stream)

    Registration: Color <-> depth

    Audio Capture: 4-mic array returning 48 Hz audio

    Data Path: USB 2.0

    Latency: ~90 ms with processing

    Tilt Motor: Vertical only

    Audio Bit Depth

    Hey SuitedBadge401! The Xbox One is able to support 24 bit audio. For information on what a specific game supports, you will need to contact the developer directly. Thanks!
