Audio and video in recorded clips are out of sync

I'm having the same problems, anyone have any solutions at all? about to just disable the game DVR and wait until my elgato comes in

Hello, the title pretty much speaks for itself. In every one of my recorded clips the audio is wildly out of sync from the rest of the video. Sometimes it's off by a few seconds, but recently it has been off by a over a minute. This happens irregardless
of whether I create the clip directly from the dvr app or use voice commands and from what I remember has been happening since around last July.

I've searched all over for answers with no luck so hopefully someone can help.

ya and at first it was only one of the games and now it is with alot of them. I just noticed that it was off by almost 30 secs tonight on one video!

I have the same issue. I noticed that sometime in the last few weeks, something happened that made the audio fall out of sync with the video. Originally the problem was a delayed audio not matching the video. I proceeded to call xbox support, who went through
some steps, removing persistent storage a couple of times, then removing my saved games. I was then asked to turn off my xbox by the power button, followed by unplugging it from the wall. This resulted in losing all sound completely...video with NO audio.
So, I was then advised to restore my xbox to its factory settings.

Although not overly happy with the idea of re-installing every game I had on my xbox and then all of the DLC, and syncing the save files, I really wanted this fixed and so proceeded to restore to factory settings. After waiting some time for a game to install
I jumped in and recorded a clip eager to see a result. Plus side is that I do actually have audio, but now the audio plays ahead of the video.

So be advised that although these methods have an effect, I haven't fixed mine yet!

I searched the internet a lot, and didn't find any fix for this.

I have the same problem. Audio is ahead of the video.

Tried hard reset, factory reset, and still have this issue.

However, sometimes after unplugging everything from the xbox and then reinserting everything and starting up the console, game dvr works fine, without any delays. But just for a short period. After turning off the console or a recording few gameclips, the
problem happens again.

 

Every time I record a clip, the audio is about a second behind. Since I don't have a Kinect, I have to double tap the Home button and then press X to record a clip. I also noticed that the same thing happens with my brother whenever he records clips from
his Xbox, and he also does not have a Kinect. It is just annoying when I go back to watch my clips and the audio is out of sync.

I've already tried hard resetting my Xbox, so I'm looking for other possible solutions.

 

I can't get audio to record in my clips anymore. For the first two months I owned my Xbox One I was recording dozens of clips unaware that no sound had been recorded. I searched for hours on the internet and I came across "hard reset" and "reset to factory
defaults". I have tried resetting to factory defaults, it did nothing but waste my time and force me to re-install a half dozen games which took hours. I have had very MINIMAL success with the hard resets. I would say 9/10 hard resets I'll be able to record
a clip with audio but then I shut down my console and reboot it to find out the problem is still persisting. I am incredible upset that I purchased an Xbox One not knowing how many problems it actually had. The user interface/dashboard makes me cringe every
time I have to navigate it and now I can't even enjoy my recorded clips because Game DVR has been broken for who knows how many months. I've seen some forums and websites say it was fixed last year and others say it's still broken.

I'm using a special limited edition 500gb Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Xbox One without Kinect.

I am also having the same issus. When i first got my Xbox ive recorded my frist clip and it was fine and now every time i record all my playbacks are out of sync. Sometimes i dont even get sound. Please fix is problem ive paid over £300 for my console and
expect a soild product.
