Attractive pixels?

@ Jolly - Yes, while they are just characters made of pixels, the human characters sometimes resemble or are loosely based on real people and with human nature there will always be that thought in one way or another.

See that's how I see it too. Surely there has to be someone somewhere that looks pretty much exactly like some game characters. Justified

 

I didn't know until my girlfriend told me but Desmond Miles is modeled after this guy Francisco Randez. I thought that was pretty cool. More people think of Lucy modeled after Kristen Bell when they think of AC and it's funny why they kill her character
off.

Lately I have been playing Bioshock Infinite and despite her cartoonish appearance, Elizabeth has touched my heart string. She is the most delightful character I have ever encountered in a videogame, especially that moment when she sings a song for a little
boy in the basement while you play guitar. Beautiful...

 

Aeris FF7 <3 touched my heart too. That game scene really impacted on me back then.

I agree with the art is art concept.

 

Thinking about it, the idea that a game character is attractive isn't even that far-fetched these days with mo-cap. Holy cow does Delsin form Infamous look like his VA Troy Baker.

 

The hi-res picture of Lightning on the PS3 game preview screen for Lightning Returns is beautiful, I didn't really see what people saw in her until I saw that image...

Why? Because I am a man that appreciates the beauty of the opposite gender, I find it strange that you would find that creepy.

Nature designed us that way to prolong the species...
