Attn: Game Sharing Gamers--Clarification on Home Xbox Resets

Thanks for the clarification. Technically, there's no game sharing or subscription sharing on PC. The home Xbox feature where you can share your games and subscription only works on Xbox consoles.

For PC, it may or may not work. If he has an Xbox Console Companion app on his PC, try to open it and check whose account is currently signed in. If it's yours, please sign it out.

If you have already reached your limit, you'll have to wait the year until you can change it again.

Gamer a is the one sharing xbox gold, he will always have access to gold on any console he signs in on, he bought the subscription.

On xbox b, have gamer a add his profile to the console, in that profile go to settings and personalization. Select home xbox and make this my home xbox. Gamer a will now share all his games and the gold subscription with gamer b. Now gamer b will be able
to use the gold subscription on his account. You can only change consoles 5 times a year and you can only have one console set as the home xbox

Account-specific items can’t always be shared. Some examples are:

Thank you keeping us updated. Doing a soft factory reset also resets the game sharing settings. You would have to set up the

Home console again in order to share gold as you were before.
