    According to my rewards account, I haven't been receiving my duly earned reward points for purchases I've made on XBOX Live and also for my XBOX Live subscriptions since 2013-2014.

    A snap shot of my account statement:

    [table][tr][td]09/09/14 - Made First Purchase With Local Currency - 1,250 Credits[/td][/tr][tr][td]05/31/14 - MyAchievements – Champion Rebate - 100 Credits[/td][/tr][tr][td]12/31/13 - MyAchievements – Champion Rebate - 500 Credits[/td][/tr][tr][td]10/08/13 - Renewed 12 Month Xbox Live Gold Membership - 3,000 Credits[/td][/tr][/table]

    My pending balance shows 4,850 and I should have well over this. I am still currently a subscriber so I should have had credit for three renewals, as well as the multiple and various purchases I've made for games, game add-ons and additional content, season
    passes and more than I can list here.

    I have been a loyal XBOX Live member since 2005, and I find it disturbing that your rewards system which is supposed to encourage continued subscription and membership is so dysfunctional. And I say this not only from my perspective, but also after researching
    myself to find many people complaining of the same issue, to the tune of tens of thousands of individuals. That should be alarming, and should call for resolution to maintain and promote customer retention. You would think that since XBOX and XBOX Live are
    subsidiaries of the parent company Microsoft, who possess one of the largest and advanced technical support workforce in the world, could task a support team to resolve this issue.

    If you are going to offer rewards to customers as incentive, then you have to back it up with actually giving the rewards to those customers. XBOX, XBOX Live and more poignantly Microsoft needs to live up to their word. If their word is no good, then why
    should we as customers continue to give our patronage and our loyalty? We Shouldn't!

    Just as an FYI, I will be copying Phil Spencer on this so that he is aware of the gross oversight of this program for all involved. Please get this resolved, and more directly, get my account credited with the appropriate points balance!

  2. Xbox live rewards requires update

    Xbox live rewards says my account needs attention. It states that I need to update my email but my information is correct and I have nothing else that I can see that needs attention. Please help.

    Hello ShadowHawk N7,

    You can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at Xbox Live Rewards .

    -or-

    2. For non-offer purchases, you can earn Credits by earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases
    back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders, in-game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the
    program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds. If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Since you are a zero star member, you do not
    get payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (Xbox Live Rewards).
