Attempting to change payment method of Xbox Live gold or paying outstanding fees tells me to ...

I recently had to change the payment method of my Xbox live Gold subscription due to problems with my old credit card. Apparently there seems to be a problem charging the new credit card, and attempting to change the payment method of the subscription to
correct the errors or use the link to pay outstanding fees just tells me to contact the support to fix that.

Unfortunately, this forum seems to be the only way to contact the support as request, is there anybody around who can do something about that? Or does anybody here who knows how to get in touch with customer support directly, preferably via email?

If you don’t want to add another payment method, you can turn off auto-renewal or contact
Xbox Support for help removing your payment method. When you contact Support, please have your gamertag and payment information available.

Hi there, looks like you might have an expired payment method and it still gave you a month of your subscription without you actually paying. To make sure this is the case, see if you can log in here:
commerce.microsoft.com

That should tell you if you have an outstanding balance due and if so will need to contact phone support to have it sorted:

If you’re in the US or Canada you can call 1-800-4my-xbox (1-800-469-9269).

Otherwise you can go to Xbox One Support | Xbox 360 Support | Xbox Live and Billing Support to request a call back from support in your region. That will be the fastest.

 

I'm in Germany, and it just says "requests for callbacks are currently not available", any other ideas?
