Attempting to cancel recurring xbox live payment.

Hi

Every time I try to cancel my xbox live recurring payment I get to the last step then I get the stupid message

Uh oh... that should not have happened.
Is this a joke?

I don't want it to recur anymore, I can get it cheaper else where.

Please advise.

Xbox live

Go to https://account.microsoft.com/services and login with your account on which you have payments set for Xbox Live. You'll see your Xbox Live Subscription there. Click
on Turn off recurring payments or just cancel the subscription.

You can then use your primary account to subscribe to Xbox Live Gold if needed.

I can not cancel my subscription. HELP ME !!!

Hello, in my services and subscriptions tab is saying that I have an xbox live gold subscription, I want to cancel it because I hired the 12 month plan and the 12 months are ending, I do not want to have a recurring charge because I do not want to continue with the subscription . I have already followed microsoft support and in the payments and collections is not giving me the option to cancel, I wanted to know why, and a position and help from you to cancel the recurring payment and remove the information from my card

Since you're unable to cancel your subscription on here the normal way, you'll probably want to try contacting Xbox Support through the
Contact Us page. That will be the most effective way to get past this error and cancel your subscription.

Just turn off recurring payments, it will then state that your live end date then past that date just pay for a month. That is unless you have left recurring payments on and went past the renewal date then you need
to pay what's owed as it would've automatically attempted to take payment.

If you are attempting to
remove your payment instrument from your account, you will need to
cancel your subscriptions recurring charges first.

This will allow you to remove your card from your account to prevent further charges.
