Attempting Port-Forwarding, Get "Not Connected" When Attempting

Currently, I have my XB1 on a wired connection (NAT: Moderate) to a Linksys EA3500 router connected to a Netgear CM400 modem. I'd like to port forward my router, but whenever I do so, I get the error message "Not Connected: Your network isn't setup" in XB1
    > Network Settings > Test Multiplayer Connection. When I undo the port forwarding, it goes back to as is was.

My XB1 manual static IP setup:

IP: 192.168.1.151 (outside the DCHP range of my router)

    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

    Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (my router's IP)

    Primary DNS: 192.168.1.1

    Secondary DNS: 0.0.0.0

I've gone to the router's "Apps and Gaming" > "Single Port Forwarding" section and forwarded ports 88, 3074, 53, 80, 500, 3544, and 4500 to the XB1's 192.168.1.151 IP address. The DCHP range of my router's set to 192.168.1.0-149. When I was trying to forward
earlier (only altering the port forward section) all of the devices on my network would lose connection to the router (fine when directly connected to the modem) as well, but no longer. I've tried power cycling everything after changing the settings, to no
    avail.

I'm really at a loss and would appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. I hope I'm not missing any info that's useful.

    :)

  2. matchmaking issues.

I'm attempting to set up port forwarding, however when going to save the changes for the ports, it isn't allowing them to save...i'll keep trying though

  3. Port forwarding

Warning: The change you are attempting to make may cause AT&T U-verse TV to stop working properly.

I get this warning when I try to open the NAT settings for Xbox one through port forwarding.

First try setting your Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8 and your Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4 and test it.

If that doesn't. Here are the ports that need to be forwarded. Make sure they are forwarded correctly.

    •Port 88 (UDP)

    •Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)

    •Port 53 (UDP and TCP)

    •Port 80 (TCP)

    •Port 500 (UDP)

    •Port 3544 (UDP)

    •Port 4500 (UDP)

    Keep us update. Good Luck!

Thanks for the reply! I'm pretty sure my ports are forwarded correctly (oi67.tinypic.com/2vwilgz.jpg). I changed my DNS settings like you said, and now when I do the XBL connection test, I
get "It's all good", but also that my "network is behind a port-restricted NAT" and is still Moderate.

  6. it works fine wired ? and only does this wireless ? have you tried UPNP and reseting everything ? That router should handle xbox with UPNP , also if wireless , try the 2.4 band if you are on 5 hz one ....

I said in my first post that my connection is wired and that I tried resetting my setup. UPnP is enabled. It's not that it "works fine" wired, it's just now that I changed my DNS, I *can* connect, but it's still moderate (not Open, which was my goal of port
    forwarding).

One other thing. Make sure your router is updated to the latest firmware. Sometimes there will be firmware updates that will correct some issues.

I verified your port forwarding and everything looks fine there.

Alright, thanks. My firmware's been up to date for awhile. I started the box up today and it's been Open now and behind a cone NAT. I don't know why it's like that now, since I changed the settings yesterday, but I'll roll with it.
