ATT DEVS: Xbox Elite Controller

Hi all,

Just a quick thread. I've just spoken with Xbox support and they've told me to post here. I bought my new Xbox elite controller today and to my dismay am unable to map all my inputs.

Many games require two buttons to be pushed at the same time, think eso y + b to activate synergy... Or Destiny lb + rb to use super. This is one reason I purchased the controller, to map inputs like these on the back paddles.

I'd love to hear back from the controller developers and get this option place in the next firmware. This is not a game developer issue... It should be a standard feature with this $200 controller.

Thoughts guys? Well, in my view, as many will say, it's still too early to judge the Xbox One's graphical prowess. After all, the developers have yet to harness the true power of the next-gen consoles so I say we just let it be and give it years. We'll see. Besides that, Sniper Elite dev says it'll catch up. But when will it catch up? Don't know yet.

Poor Quality Controllers

I can attest to the build quality of the old controller.

I am currently on my second wired controller since I started gaming on the Xbox 360 in 2006.

It is.

Map it through your Accessories app. You can create a different profile for each map.

You can't map two buttons to one paddle, though.

Does no one read the instructions for these things?

Does one not read a post properly before replying?? I'm beyond aware of the ability to map buttons to the back paddles but you can not map ALL inputs for many games like ESO and Destiny (view examples in my op). I'm asking this to be put in a firmware update.

In which I believe should have been released on the sale of their first Elite Controller.

I love my Elite 2 but I'd love to get my hands on the super rare Borderlands 3 controllers that the devs got...it looks so cool. If it was only a purchasable one it'd have to be one of the Halo controllers.

Can you please try starting the game and then connect a second controller to your console this controller is connected try pressing the View and Menu buttons together and this should bring up the Xbox 360 mini guide and from here can you try getting your
freind to sign in with there profile to see if the split sreen option is then available.
