Atmos & PCM 5.1 support?

So I have the LG SJ9 with Dolby Atmos, so i tried the recently added Atmos setting, but I don't think it works as it should:

- When I enable the setting I get a error message that the device (might) not support this bitstream, but it does

- When I close the error msg, leave settings, but then go back, the output is actually set to Atmos

- When I try the demo's in the Dolby Acces app they work fine and the LED display on the LG SJ9 shows Atmos

- When I am in the homescreen, it says PCM on the led display, when i move around in the homescreen (and there's sounds) it briefly says Surround, till the sound stops again. Also, the dashboard sound effect seem to be missing small pieces???

- When I try a video app (Netflix, Amazon, Plex) it switches Surround, I think because these apps don't support Atmos so it just output Surround, this is fine

- Then the actual problem: when I try to play a game it stays in PCM, but there is no center speaker sound (voices) and no subwoofer, seems like the 5.1 sound is downgraded to a stereo signal?

- When I set the output to 5.1 uncompressed (PCM) I get the same problem as above (no voices, bass) but then not just in games but in all the apps. This problem was already there before the Atmos update but is more noticable now since the Atmos setting also
uses PCM.

I got this soundbar specificly knowing the Atmos support was coming to Xbox. And I know that there is not a lot of content that is Atmos, but I would like it to work properly in all scenario's!

Dolby atmos pcm

my Xbox 1 only sends atmos pcm 5.1 to my receiver. It says dolby atmos but I its not sending any sound to my front and rear atmos speakers. Please any help

BUG: With Dolby Atmos activated, all apps used Fallback to PCM 2.0

I recently got the Xbox One S, updated it to latest Firmware and installed the Dolby Access app.

BluRay in Atmos/DTS:X works fine.

Games work fine (fallback to linear PCM 7.1)

Apps have problems. Mixer, Netflix, even the normal UI all use the wrong fallback if there is no Atmos signal. They use fallback to PCM 2.0 (since Netflix, Mixer and so on don't output sound as 5.1 or 7.1 Linear PCM). If I set the Console to Bitstream Dolby
Digital (instead of Dolby Atmos) then apps correctly stream 5.1 DD Audio as expected.

I'm using Dolby Atmos for Home Theathre via HDMI btw.

I wonder why this hasn't been noticed during Preview testing!

What should happen:

Dolby Atmos Content -> Dolby Atmos Bitstream

Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital + Content (Apps, UI) -> Dolby Digital (+) Bitstream

Linear PCM Content (Games) -> Linear PCM 7.1 Output (or Dolby Digital if selected)

What currently happens:

Dolby Atmos Content -> Dolby Atmos Bitstream

Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital + Content (Apps, UI) -> Linear PCM 2.0 Downmix

Linear PCM Content (Games) -> Linear PCM 7.1 Output

I hope I explained the error conclusively and that we will soon see an Update to fix this very annoying issue.

Btw...is there any information yet, which games will be Updated to actually work with Dolby Atmos? So far there are none...
