Atmos in Netflix no longer works???

First off, I have the premium subscription. My setup is the One X into a Denon AVR-X4400H with a 5.1.4 Klipsch speakers setup pass-through to a Sony x900e. All using high speed HDMI cables.

Shows that have Atmos show the Atmos tag, but once I start the show and go into the audio, it defaults to 5.1 and my 5.1.4 setup is useless with absolutely no audio coming from the height channels.

I have tried hard resetting, re-installing the Netflix app, re-installing Dolby Access, unselecting then reselecting Atmos in the sound settings and unselecting and reselecting pass audio through my receiver
in the Xbox and nothing works to get Atmos working again.

I have submitted numerous reports to the Xbox team via the Xbox insider hub for the past month and nothing is being done to fix it.

Anyone here help shed some light on this situation and help a guy out??? Hate having $3000 worth of home theater tech and not use the full potential of what Netflix can offer.

    :)

BUG: With Dolby Atmos activated, all apps used Fallback to PCM 2.0

I can confirm this bug with the Dolby Atmos app.

My setup: Denon X4200W receiver with Xbox One S.

Atmos works fine in the Dolby Atmos app, Blu-Ray and Netflix (the movie Okja is the only Atmos movie on Netflix). All other Netflix videos and Xbox apps default back to 2.0 down mix as posted above.

Netflix - Problems with 5.1 Sound and HDR

    Hi,

Bought an Xbox One S yesterday, and am having some problems with Netflix app:

    1) If I use the Dolby Access app to set the Xbox to Dolby Atmos Bitstream, then Netflix can no longer output DD+ 5.1 Streams. It just plays PCM Stereo, even if the app is set to play 5.1 Surround. Setting the Console to Bitstream without avtivating Dolby
Atmos Support fixes the issue, but I want to keep Atmos for BluRay and Games. Please fix!

    2) As soon as I start Netflix my TV goes to HDR mode and stays there. It then tries to display everything as HDR, even SDR content. That also needs a fix. Thanks!

Have you contacted Netflix support? They have a troubleshooting guide here: Dolby Atmos on Netflix

Netflix also notes that if, for some reason, your detected connection speed is low, then Netflix will default the stream back to 5.1

The good folks over at AVSForum.com - Home Theater Discussions And Reviews also have some good tutorials for the high end equipment that you are running, and they have some experts on the forums that may be
    able to help you.

Xbox Series X Audio Passthrough\Dolby Atmos doesn't work for Netflix or Disney + app

I have the same problem. Used to get Atmos just fine from Netflix, and since last month it doesn't work.

The show menus say Atmos but my receiver is only getting a Dolby Surround signal. Atmos still works on my TV Netflix app.

Also not getting Atmos from the AppleTV app on the Series X.

    Disney+Atmos still works

Xbox Series S Audio Passthrough is still broken and it doesn't work for Netflix.

I have the same issue, on box Xbox S, and now Xbox X. The passthrough doesn't work for Netflix. Very frustrating as Atmos content from Netflix does not work correct. This is only happening with Netflix, all else is fine with Atmos.
