ATMOS and DTSX Support.

I have a similar issue but instead of the problem being with Dolby Armos its with DTSX .

i have an LG C9 and a Yamaha RX-A3070 , the AVR supports both Atmos and DtsX when the xbox is plugged direcly into the Amp and then video passed onto the C9 but to take advantage of VRR ALLM etc i have the xbox plugged into the tv and use eARC to send the
audio back to my AVR .

I can select Atmos on the Xbox and all is fine ( Avr shows Atmos/pcm )

when i try and select DtsX i get the error message saying your reciever doesnt support DtsX when i know it does

I would like an invite also so I can install the new updates to be able to play ATMOS / DTS:X. Sold my UHD player for XBOX one S so expected the sound to be the same not worst.

Can someone please invite me as well so I can see Enable “Let my receiver decode audio $beta$” under the “Disc & Blu-ray” settings page.?

Add me to that list as well! Just got a Dolby Atmos enabled receiver, and am itching to be able to use it to it's full potential! I've got a few movies already that support Dolby Atmos.

I am also in agreement here. I have a full 7.2.4 setup and was forced to buy a stand alone player for my UHD discs. If by some miracle Microsoft fixes this in the next 30 days I can return the player and save $320. They are in a great position to sell a
bunch of consoles to home theater guys with a full UHD capable player and game console thats cheaper than stand alone units. It is exactly what helped the PS3 at the time it dropped to $400.

I don't understand why many people are not voicing concerns. Almost all 4K movies come with atmos or DTS-X. It's unacceptable Xbox one S which is marketed as a 4K player won't support these formats. Microsoft should fix this quickly.

It has been released this week for Xbox One Insider program members. Insider program is invite only. I'm trying to get someone to invite me because I don't want to wait until April to have DTS HD-MA, DolbyTrue HD, and ATMOS support. I was extremely upset
when my Xbox One wouldn't bitstream the formats to my A/V receiver and now that this is out, I really want it!
