AT&T U-Verse HDCP authentication failure

I have an issue with "HDCP authentication failure" from the initial start up from the Xbox ON Command. Everything powers on (TV and U-Verse Box) but u-verse gives me a blue screen saying " HDCP authentication failure". The only way i get the signal to come
back on is by switching inputs on the television and then the signal from u-verse magically appears back. HELP.

What is your TV Brand and model, same with the U-Verse Set up box ?

All the commands work to both units

TV- mute, unmute, volume up and down. Powers on and off when I command "xbox on" and "xbox turn off"

AT&T U-verse works perfectly fine with the Xbox.

Right when I turn on the Xbox I get the error for U-verse

 

No AVR Mix, simple plug in At&t to the xbox, xbox to TV

 

getting the model soon give me a second

Any HDMI splitters, hubs, or conversion cables?

 

no other connections strictly cable to xbox to tv

 

I know this sounds low-brow however, a not-so-good HDMI cable would cause the issue you are seeing. Not very exciting I know, but that really could be the causation. We are recommending HDMI 1.4 of a nice quality or 2.0. The only other solution that would
match this situation may be swapping that isb7000 for a different model from the TV provider. Passing through 1 extra hop is not normally an issue (even when DVI error's were to prevent recording equipment a few years back).

Let me know what you decide 1 way or another.
