AT&T U-verse app live TV problem

Discus and support AT&T U-verse app live TV problem in XBoX Games and Apps to solve the problem; I recently downloaded the AT&T u-verse app on my xbox one and I have not been able to use the live TV streaming function to work.     AT&T U-verse app live TV problem


    I recently downloaded the AT&T u-verse app on my xbox one and I have not been able to use the live TV streaming function to work. Does anyone know why this might be? I am logged into my account and everything else is working in the app fine. Also I have
    the u-verse app on my phone and iPad and the live functionality works just fine. My only thought is that AT&T restricts the use of this function if you are not on their internet service? I am currently using a family account and not located in the same household
    as the u-verse subscription. Thanks for any helo any one may have!

    Xbox One Guide list wrong Channels on AT&T U-verse

    The One Guide for AT&T U-verse in Knoxville, TN shows the TV listings for New York.

    After doing some research I found this thread on the official AT&T site: https://forums.att.com/t5/U-verse-TV-Apps/U-verse-app-on-Xbox-One/td-p/5066091

    On or after May 30, 2017, the Uverse.com site may be retired and no longer available for video streaming. Additionally, on or after May 30, 2017, the U-verse app may be unavailable on the XBox One and Windows mobile operating systems as well. Customers
    will still be able to stream via the U-verse mobile app on all other supported platforms. More information will be available at Uverse.com.
    While this is bad news, I hope this help explain why the app is no longer working.

    All the commands work to both units

    TV- mute, unmute, volume up and down. Powers on and off when I command "xbox on" and "xbox turn off"

    AT&T U-verse works perfectly fine with the Xbox.

    Right when I turn on the Xbox I get the error for U-verse
