    At&T NAT type


    I recently got the series X on release date. Since purchasing it and getting everything set up, I am now having issues with my NAT type being stuck on moderate which I believe is preventing me from communicating in game chat. I have an AT&T uverse modem.
    I never had this issue with my xbox one X previously so I tried to switch back and am also having issues on this console. I spent an hour on the phone with tech support with AT&T and got no where. This is not limited to one title. Ive tried communicating via
    game chat on EA, activison and microsoft games to no avail. I can hear everyone else but they cannot hear me unless in xbox party chat. I never had these issues with xfinity, thinking about going back. Thoughts?

    Party Chat - No sound from host.

    check your NAT type. In Dashboard do a connection test. If your Nat type is moderate or strict it´s possible that you don´t hear your friend. He should do the same.

    Whats your router and your NAT type? Be sure that you have the latest Firmware for your Router.

    Is your NAT type set to OPEN? This can resolve some multiplayer connection problems for games that require NAT types to be OPEN.
