    Ok everyone,

    Just switched from Comcast Extreme 105 to AT&T GigaPower 1GB Up & Down. Getting near 1GB on all devices EXCEPT the XBOX One. I know the particular XBOX One is not defective because we have three and they all have the same issue. Using CAT 6 cables and
    have tried changing them all.

    AT&T did the initial install. Then I had poor test results on the XBOX One and so they sent new techs back the very next day and did a full reinstall of every component (exterior fiber to modem box, wires between them, new modem - everything). Same issue.
    Great speeds on everything BUT the XBOX One.I got 100+ down all the time on Comcast.

    I now get 500+ down on all devices and my XBOX One (which is the new XBOX-S) actually has speed test results ranging from 200 down to 1 down and even some tests measured in Kbps!!!!!

    I have gotten 800 down on one device and 912kbps on the XBOX One the very next test. I am testing with no other devices connected, have tried disabling IPV6, disabling all wifi signals, dealt with XBOX Live Support for 2-3 hours on 2 calls and AT&T Advanced
    Support and even paid support for another 3 hours. Tried DMV, Bridge Mode, port forwarding, etc until XBOX Live Support just gave up and said they have no other ideas.

    This has to be a Microsoft issue it seems to me since it affects only the XBOX One. The one I am testing now is actually the new XBOX One S so it is very up to date.I have seen a handful of other users make posts just like this on other forums and every
    time it is an XBOX One and AT&T Fiber where all other devices get 1GB promised speeds but the XB1 gets speeds of 1-10 down.AT&T modem is the pace modem 5268ac.

    All ATT users get this one.If you want GB speeds, looks like you better make your next console a Playstation? Any ideas?

    Going from 33mbs to 12 mbs on xbox one

    I'm moving and have to switch from xfinity blast 33mbps to AT&T 12mbps fiber optic. Will there be a noticable difference playing on xbox one playing online with 12mbps speed?

    Thanks it took a lot of work to hide as much of the tech from my place as possible (and i have more tech toys than most people) ... now my place is pretty much wire and clutter free AT&T 1 GB FIBER AND XBOX ONE TECH DISCUSSION :) I'm really happy with the results.

    Gigabit speeds on Xbox One X

    I just got gb internet. Fiber optic. All hooked up and turned on my xbox and only was able to get high end almost 600 low ends 400+. Upload was 200+-. Even the tech could only read 300. Thats what his teater maxed out on. Qith fiber there is no bottle
    neck no lag no drop in service. Not sure if it my xbox 1 s or my service. Will call new service to make sure im getting the right speed.

    Hello Snake,

    Thanks for bringing your question to the forums. The Xbox one X will not download at 1 GB. There is not a page or troubleshooting as to what the top download speeds are, this isn't public knowledge. As there are different servers, the speed will go by that
    server. For example if you are connecting to a server that only allows 300 MB download than that would be max. Be aware that fiber is not available in all areas. So you could be getting it from a server that isn't connected via fiber.

    Hi Jr,

    I would recommend trying a
    wireless connection     on the console instead of an ethernet cable. It could be an issue with the ports on the console itself.

    Also, here is a link that has to do with the console disconnecting from the network:

    1. select Set up wireless network
    2. select the appropriate router from the list of devices
    3. enter the password
    4. connect to the network.
    Try this out and let us know the results.

    You should check if this is a Xbox related issue or an internet related issue.

    To thoroughly check that, please do the following:

    Before you start playing on your console, start your PC or laptop.

    Open up a command prompt. On Windows you press Windowskey+R and type "cmd" in the little box and press OK. On a Mac or Linux computer, you simply open up a terminal window.

    Into the command prompt, type:

    PING www.google.com -t

    (if you use a Mac or Linux, omit the -t option).

    That command should print out rows upon rows of statistics.

    Now start playing, and as soon as you are disconnected from the game, check the output on your PC.

    Do the numbers on the replies significantly change, or do you completely different outputs or even error messages?
