    at start of xbox one the tv is in 720p


    Hello when i m selecting 'tv at start up' , the picture is in 720p instead my signal is in 1080i ? Can you help me to have 1080i signal at start up of tv in xbox one ?

    can't get 1080 p from xbox one

    Hooked up xbox one to Mitsubishi wd-52627 through hdmi port. getting 720p according to tv

    Hooked up xbox 360 to another hdmi port on tv. Says its at 1080p.

    Hooked up satellitte signal to component in on tv - says its at 1080p. Hook up satellite through xbox one, says its at 720p

    Other devices hooked up through component input:

    - blue ray player: 1080p

    - apple tv: 720p

    Tried adjusting settings in Xbox one and 1080p doesn't work.

    Help.

    the TV and select 720p. If you have an oddball TV that supports both 1080p and 720p input, but only has a 720p display, then I would test and see which plays better - the scaler on the Xbox One or the scaler on the TV.

    Since your set is 720p, use 720p. The vast majority of 360 games are 720p anyway, so this is a no-brainer. The games are 720p, the display is 720p... Why use 1080p? Since your TV is 720p, anything you send to it at 1080p is just going to get scaled back
    down to 720p, where it started to begin with.

    make sure the xbox is set to 720p, check to see if the tv has a just scan option, i know some old 720p tv's do knock a bit off and they cannot be adjusted unfortunately, your tv may just be one of those.

    Thank you for letting us know the resolution of your TV. 1366x768 is 720p, not 576i. If your TV has an HDMI port, it likely supports HD 720p at least and would be compatible with the Xbox One. Please look over your TV's owner manual to confirm what resolution
    your TV is capable of before you purchase the Xbox One X.
