    Asus: Port Forwarding


    Asus (Modems/Gateways): Port Forwarding
    Login Information

    • Gateway: 192.168.1.1
    • Username: admin
    • Password: admin

    Port Forwarding


    1. Open a web browser on a computer.
    2. Type the gateway address “192.168.1.1” into the web address bar.
    3. When prompted for a username and password type in “admin” for both the username and the password.
    4. On the left hand side of the web page select the “Advanced Settings” option.
    5. Select the “WAN” subcategory below.
    6. On the top of the next page select the “Virtual Server” tab.
    7. On the “Virtual Servers” page, select the “Yes” button for “Enable Virtual Server”.
    8. Under the “Service Name” Type in “Xbox”.
    9. Under the “Port Range” type in “3074”.
    10. Under the “Local IP” drop down box, select the Xbox’s current IP address.
    11. Under the “Local Port” type in “3074”.
    12. Under the “Protocol” drop down box, select “both” or “TCP/UDP”.
    13. Under the “Protocol No.” type in “1”.
    14. Click on the “Add” button.
    15. Click the “Apply” button on the bottom of the page.


    Disable Port Forwarding

    1. Open a web browser on a computer.
    2. Type the gateway address “192.168.1.1” into the web address bar.
    3. When prompted for a username and password type in “admin” for both the username and the password.
    4. On the left hand side of the web page select the “Advanced Settings” option.
    5. Select the “WAN” sub category below.
    6. On the top of the next page select the “Virtual Server” tab.
    7. On the “Virtual Servers” page, select the “No” button for “Enable Virtual Server”.
    8. Click the “Apply” button the bottom of the page.

    4. On the left hand side of the web page under the “Advanced Settings”, click on the “WAN” option.
    5. On the main page select the “Virtual Server /Port Forwarding” tab.
    6. Locate the “Basic Config” section.
    7. Next to “Enable Port Forwarding” select the “Yes” option.
    8. Locate the “Port Forwarding List” section.
    9. Under “Service Name” type “Xbox”.
    10. Under the “Port Range” type in “3074”.
    11. Under the “Local IP” drop down box, select the Xbox’s current IP address.
    12. Under the “Local Port” type in “3074”.
    13. Under the “Protocol” drop down box, select “both” or “TCP/UDP”.
    14. Click on the “Add” button.
    15. Click on the “Apply” button.
