Astroneer won't launch on Xbox App on PC (Game pass)

I have Game pass on PC and am trying to play Astroneer. I've played previously no problem but a few days ago there was an update on the 24th. Today I tried to play the game and after downloading the update the game will not launch. A dialog/loading box appears
for a split second and disappears, then nothing happens. I have reinstalled the game twice and the same thing happens. Honestly I have no idea what to do, I've searched online and it doesn't seem like anyone else is having this problem.

Other games open just fine on my Xbox app.

No worries, on that. Could you confirm that you've contacted the developer support for Astroneer as well and if you have if they have confirmed that the source of the issue is from our end or not just in case. And I presume that this is an issue only occuring with this game specifically, any other games you have downloaded run and work fine?

I would also try if you haven't making sure to let the developers know that you are having this issue. And just to make sure we have all relevant details:

Could you let me know what operating system you are using?
Could you let me know If you've only downloaded from the Microsoft store app, or if you've tried downloading and installing through the Xbox app or launching from the Desktop as well?
It would also be good to go ahead and start a support ticket with the developers just in case they may have a fix for this on their end. Astroneer | A Game of Aerospace Industry and Interplanetary Exploration

Just in case I am also downloading Astroneer from the Xbox Store app then the Microsoft Store app to see if I can reproduce the issue. Which as I am typing now it worked fine after downloading from the Xbox app on Windows 11, will be trying from the Microsoft store app here soon and the Xbox app on Windows 10.

Are you logged into the PC with your Microsoft account? I just launched Astroneer with no issue via the Xbox app and directly by just using the program icon. You may want to sign out and back in.
