Astroneer on Game Pass save file disappeared

Hello,

I logged off the game around 23:30 yesterday and when I booted it up after work today there were no save files. I backed up the save file and tried uninstalling and reinstalling but nothing happens when I click on the save file. It's supposed to have cloud saves but there's no way to choose any past saves. Is it possible to have someone rollback my save file to yesterday?

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Packages\SystemEraSoftworks.29415440E1269_ftk5pbg2rayv2\SystemAppData\wgs

If your game isn't in C:\XboxGames folder, it would be in the WindowsApps folder. But that still wouldn't be where your save files ago. In any case, most GamePass games are encrypted. However, save files and config files are not and are located elsewhere.

Hi there,

When your console is connected to the internet, and to Xbox Live, any achievements unlocked cannot be removed. If you earned the achievements offline, there may have been some sync issues with your Gamertag and save information. If you have a Gold subscription,
you will have access to cloud storage, where your game saves will automatically be retrieved and updated, as you play, if you are online.

My best advice, would be to remove your Gamertag from your console, reboot and re-download it. This will retrieve any non-unlocked achievements and sync user data, when you launch the game.

It is a disc and I’ve only got one account going. 1 Xbox account and only 1 save file on the game. Do you reckon it’s an Xbox issue? I haven’t lost any save files on any other games. So far..

I had completed roughly 20% of the first game in the Spyro Trilogy on Xbox One - I just went on to play again and it has taken me back to 5%. All achievements are gone too and I don’t know if this was a game problem or an Xbox problem. I never use
Live and so now I am worried that my save file is gone forever. Is there anything I can do or does anyone know why this happened?

I would like to ask you a question that may or may not help us determine what the issue may be. Is this a disk, or a digital copy? Additionally Do you have more than one profile playing the game? I hope we can help, I had this issue way back on the xbox
360 with a different...longer game. So I feel your pain.
