Astroneer Crashing right when i launch the game

When i launch astroneer it shows a window that is see through for a split second and then it goes away. I have been looking for a fix for hours and still no fix i have also look at some other post on here and still no fix so if anyone can help that will be great.

Hey calimero24! Because Astroneer is an Xbox Preview game you can sometimes run in to issues like this as it is still be worked on at this time. Your best bet is to post over on the

Nothing works, it related on my opinion on Xbox version. Administrative rights are not allowed to change on Xbox apps. It is possible if I get the owner permission but i tried too and It does not work.

The game starts, no black screen or crash on launch. The game crash when i have to "push the button to go to the main menu" and, after that, crash.

Could you confirm that you've contacted the developer support for Astroneer as well and if you have if they have confirmed that the source of the issue is from our end or not just in case. And I presume that this is an issue only occuring with this game specifically, any other games you have downloaded run and work fine?

Yes a quick Reddit browse led me to a solution, a little extreme uf you ask me but some users solved it by reseting the PC

In the part of Windows 10 click on "Reset this PC" these instructions will help you to solve the problem, you can even leave your important files!
