Astroneer crashing on startup

    Astroneer crashing on startup


    Hello I recently got the game pass on my pc. So I got astroneer but once it was finished downloading i opened it for it to just crash. I get the error message in the event viewer The server SystemEraSoftworks.29415440E1269_1.20.274.0_x64__ftk5pbg2rayv2!ASTRONEER did not register with DCOM within the required timeout.

    I have tried countless things some of them are:

    sfc /scannow

    uninstalling the game and reinstalling it

    Renaming the softwaredistribution file

    Updating all windows drivers and graphics card

    running the wsreset.exe

    Reinstalling windows

    Opening the trouble shooter

    and PLENTY of other things my friend says his game works fine what else could i try

    Hey calimero24! Because Astroneer is an Xbox Preview game you can sometimes run in to issues like this as it is still be worked on at this time. Your best bet is to post over on the

    Astroneer forums     to see if anyone else is seeing this issue and may have a solution for it. Thanks!
