astroneer connection problem

Thank you, the Xbox console companion app is different from the Xbox PC app

Please search this app using the Microsoft store.

In the meantime try this:

A. Open the Control Panel in Windows.
After opening the control panel, set the “View by” on the top-right corner to “Large icons“.
Click on the “Network and Sharing Center” option.
Here, click on the “Change adapter settings” link on the left panel.
Now, right-click on the active network adapter and select “Properties“.
Go to the “Networking” tab.
Here, uncheck the “Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6)” option.
Click on the “Ok” button to save changes.
Then close all the windows, restart your PC and try again

B. Use a custom DNS address in your PC, for this follow this tutorial and test with both Google and Cloud flare DNS

Thanks for responding for what I know, it only happens in Astroneer and it's the first time I played this on windows 11, add that I don't have the network option in XBOX PC settings

Additional information is needed, please answer the following questions to assist you properly:

Is this happening only when you try to play astroneer? Or if you try to use multiplayer features with a different game the issue persist?
Is this the first time that you try to play this game? Or previously everything worked fine?
Are you using windows 10 or 11?
And what did you tried so far to fix this problem, in that way I can advise you different things or how to proceed

Can you and your friend try to close and re-open the NAT ports in the router?

Let me give you the ports:

Port 88 (UDP)
Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)
Port 53 (UDP and TCP)
Port 80 (TCP)
Port 500 (UDP)
Port 3544 (UDP)
Port 4500 (UDP)

Make sure to contact your Internet Service Provider for this.
