Astroneer booting up failure

Hi everyone, I recently bought astroneer with gamepass to play with my friends. Unfortunately, instead of opening it displays a quick window before crashing. I've tried reinstalling the game and the drivers, (along with the c++ redistributables). But nothing seems to work. Would any of you know a solution? I know this issue has come up before.

Is this the only game that is experiencing this problem? I recommend verifying that your Xbox App and Gaming Services are up to date.

To verify:

Open the Xbox App
Click your profile icon at the top right corner of the page
Select "Settings"
Select "About" on the left panel

The first set of numbers under "Version" will display the current version of your Xbox App.

Current versions:

Xbox App: 2112.1001.10.0

Gaming Services: 3.60.12001.0

It also may be good to check if your graphics card is up to date! If you are unsure how to do that, your best solution would be to visit the manufacture's website.

Okay, I guess I fixed it? I powered off my PC over night, for some reason booting up Astroneer after this caused the sync to complete and allow the game to run. Not only did it fix Astroneer, but all other games.

I don't know if a long full power down is a fix, or if I got lucky.

If it's an older model, you'll eventually boot up to see an E74 error (GPU failure).

Time to replace the console.

how do you know that the power supply is good? Usually that's a symptom of a failure to "ramp up" after initial boot, which is usually a bad power supply

sounds like the internal hdd is giving up the ghost, i would put it down to mechanical failure as hdd's can either last 30 years or 1 year. when they start to fail you will get freezing, boot issues etc.
