    Astro Mix Amp + XB1


    I'm looking to buy a Astro Mixamp to enhance my Battlefield experience.

    One attribute of the mixamp is that it supports Mic monitoring on the XB1(as the XB1
    does not support this natively), but I'm reading comments, reviews and threads about the volume of the monitoring being quite low and not being able to adjust the volume..

    Astro users, what are your experiences with the Mic monitoring?

    Issue with Xbox Stereo Headset Adapter and the Astro A40s

    Astro has addressed this problem with the firmware update for your mix amp. BUT the problem with this is you must have one of the newer mix amps that doesn't have a battery compartment to be able to update. Last I heard, if you call Astro they will give
    you a discount to upgrade if you have the older version mix amp.

    7.1 surround sound headphones

    Typically you have a mix amp that plugs into the console. That is where the 7.1 sound comes from. For instance my Astro A50s came with a mix amp.
