Astro Headphones not assigning to account on xbox one x

Hey,

My headphones were working fine for a while, until today, there was an update and now I cant assign my headphones to any xbox accounts on my xbox one x. I've tried hard resetting my console multiple times.

I have tried them on another xbox and they worked fine. Why aren't they assigning to any of my accounts on my console? It keeps declining...

Yeah its really stressful and I hope xbox fixes it or Astros themselves... theres a reddit forum where a tonne of people have the same issue

Just to make sure I'm clear, the firmware update was for the headset? Or are you talking about an update to the console?

Hey,

No, I am not part of the xbox insiders, they are Astro A50.

Since there was a firmware update, the xbox crashed and then did the hard reset, that's when the assigning feature stopped working.

I have tried troubleshooting and am only getting the same suggestions from other forums and xbox support.

I spoke to other astros a50 users, they are also having the same issue for a couple days now
