Astro A50's not working in party chat or game chat on Backwards Compatible games

So I'm trying to figure out how to make my Astro's work on the 360 Emulator that runs the BC games. When i use them on say Halo Reach i can hear other people but they can't hear me. My "Mic icon" doesn't show up in party chat or game chat. I've tried everything
to get this to work but i can't seem to figure it out

Does the headset work on Xbox One Party chat (i.e. do you see a circle around your gamerpic in the party chat on Xbox One)?

Are only Backwards compatible games affected? If so, it might be that the Astro A50 base station acts as a USB microphone, which doesn't work as Chat microphone on the Xbox 360.

You might have to contact the Astro A50 support for information on how to use that headset on backwards compatible titles.

Yeah it works on the Xbox One party chat but yeah that's what i was thinking i might just have to get a old Xbox One chat headset for it to work.

If the problem persists:

Try updating the first controller. If that fails, try
a different controller.

Try using a Headset Adapter for compatibility issues.

Try this out and let us know the results.

My headset works on the Xbox one just not on backwards compatible games plus my Headset is completely wireless so i can't even try any of that. I think it's the Astro A50's like ArminatorX said about the base station being a USB
microphone. I'm just going to have to get another headset to use on backwards Compatible games one that actually connects to the controller like Astro A40's or something similar.

I have the astro a50s been having the same problem for over a year. I have been trying to find a solution online but have been unable to. Plugging in a wired mic directly to the controller works but i want my a50s to work. Pls halp
