Astro a50s not detected.

Ive seen a few posts about a similar problem and they all seem to be locked without a real resolution.

I have astro a50 gen3 wireless headset and the Xbox One X.

3 days after Aprils update (after a hard reset) my mic stopped working, and the headset seems like its not detected at all. The sound does work just not the mic. Ive tried resetting everything, unplugged everything and tried to reset all the settings as
well. Nothing seems to work. I saw a post about the April update with some patch notes and it says under known issues, “headsets not assigning”.

Is this an issue that is currently being worked on and if so can we have any updates or what is going on.

I have the A50's as well, and I have had a variety of issues with them since I got them. One of the issues is that every time I restart the console the headset isn't assigned. These are things I have had to do in order to make it work:

Option 1:

Start a party, unplug the USB from the back of the base, plug it back in. Usually, I get a notification that the headset is assigned.

If Option 1 doesn't work:

Go to Settings>Kinect and Devices>Headset>Assign to a second account>Sign-out of second account>Headset works.

I'm getting rid of these things when Steelseries gets the Acrtis 9x back in stock. I kid you not, I've actually shocked several times by A50's when I put them on the base. I'm not a fan.

To this case specifically, this has been ongoing for a long time now. You need to set your xbox to do energy saving mode and it will be assigned. There is an issue when having it on instant on.

I'm just going to get rid of them. If I can't use them like I could my TB's, I have no use for them. Plus, the shock me.
