Astro A50 problems

Hey, how can these guys keep selling this 300 dollar headset if so many people are having these pjroblems, im so mad i have an issue almost 3 times a week, most of it was from leaving it on the charger overnight by accident but after learning that was the
issue i stopped, now i am having issues just from using the headset, i will lose sound sometimes just the game sound and i can still hear the other players talking, to fix this issue normally i would just sync the headset to the mixamp but most of the time
the red light stays solid andn wont turn off or flash white indicating sync, i have to let the battery die all the way then it works, has anyone had any luck fixing these issue??? what do i do???? i have completed two trouble tickets with astro and eventually
they just stop replying, they have not helped me one bit! im so *** please any help will do even how to get another set of headphones and how to get rid of mine.

Hi there I am an Astro A50 owner as well Halo edition, I use it on both my Xbox One and PS4 with a couple minor bugs here and there. Astro customer support only has email support and you will need to contact them through the Astro website. Let me offer a
few suggestions that I have learned from trial and error that help me.

1. Don't power cycle the Xbox One with the Headset and Mixamp connected, instead completely disconnect them from the Xbox One while leaving optical setting's that you had to set up through the console to get proper audio where they are at and then power
cycle the Xbox One.

2. If you have power cycled the console while they were plugged into the console please re-update the firmware for the Headset & Mixamp to the latest version (do so anyways after reading this it may help fix some of your issues) and always keep in mind about
the suggestion in number 1 about keeping the Headset and Mixamp connected while power cycling. All you have to do to re-update is go through the process like you never updated and the installer will automatically wipe the older firmware and install the newer
firmware.

On the battery red light issue it's an issue that I have seen pop up on the Astro forums. If re-updating the firmware doesn't work I suggest contacting Astro support or if you have a third party warranty see if you can get it replaced or refunded to buy
a new one.

The only other issue I had was a PS4 specific issue that was more of a fluke than anything.

Other than that I don't have anything else I can offer information wise.
