    Astro A50 Chat Issue With March System Update.


    Since this March System Update I have been having Chat issues along with controller Issues. When I do not use chat cable Agx1 the game audio itself coming through headset is fine! All that works good. But when I plug in chat cable and start to chat in a
    party After a while the headset starts a popping sound every second and the controller light flashes and disconnects on its own then connects again. To me it seems like some sort of electrical interference or something like that. Before the update everthing
    worked just fine for chat! Please Microsoft fix this issue. I have been getting more controller disconnects with this newer update as well no headset on at all.

    Astros Are updated with newest firmware, as well as the thing that hooks up to Xbox One.

    Mic issue help!!!

    I'm getting this same issue on my Astro A50 Gen 3 headset. I think an update Xbox pushed out broke something. I am able to party chat with anyone who joins my party. I am not able to chat in a game lobby or game.

    haha, i've been searching for answers and found you here too.

    i reported this to them when i was in the early preview program but they seem to ignored my chat since it's not happening to everyone.

    i org thought it was just the early release so i left the program but when it rolled out to everyone the problem was still there.

    sucks.

    No sound to Astro A50's via Mixamp... only through new chat adapter

    I'm having the same issue. After hooking my Astro A50s up to the chat adapter and updating the firmware, my headset only has sound when the chat adapter is hooked up. My A50s work fine hooked to a computer, but not to the xbox. I've re-paired and still
    no luck. Any solution?

    Yet another headset post.. New gamer looking for information!

    The Astro a50s are the best in my opinion. I purchased the XOsevens when they came out and they work well with the xbox one. They are all having issues with chat Astro is releasing a firmware update for there respected brand in a couple days to address what
    a lot of the 3rd party headset are experiencing (crackle issue when raising your voice) The turtle beaches that are made along microsoft have mic cut out issues and they are aware of this. Now when talking about audio quality the Astro a50s are the best. They
    are surround sound headsets that connect to the optical port on the back of the consle. The XOsevens for xbox one are stereo headsets that produce a great stereo sound and simulated surround effect.

    Comfort = The astro A50 these are probably the best fitting and great for long days of gaming. I like to try other headsets and I always go back to the A50s. The turtle beaches are very comfortable as well. If you like sound quality though such as positional
    the A50s will be your best bet. They are pricey at $300 but they have a wow factor to them. Well worth the price in my opinion. With that being said though the XO sevens for $159 are a great stereo headset and will not dissapoint you either. Its really what
    you want. Awesome stereo or surround sound. I hope this helps.

    The Astro A50s will work for all systems as well. Every console out you can use them for except the WII U. everything from PS4 to PC and the like.
