    Astro a40s/ new adapter problem and battery life


    Ok I'm going to start first by saying that I'm also having the same issues as most people with the new headset adapter. If I talk a little to loud my friends say it sounds like the mic is statiicky. I updated firmware / controller / and new xbox one update.
    So far I haven't had the problem since I did that , but I also havent talked loud or got excited . Time will tell . Ok and also I feel like my energizer rechargeable battery packs are dying within an hour of them being full charged. ( the Microsfor official
    battery packs) I never had this problem with my modded headset adapter . ( yes I soldered the adapter that came with the xbox one ) . I habe 3 controllers and I have this problem on every one of them . I'm hoping microsoft fixea this issue. .

    like I said though i haven't really tested to see if the static stopped because I havent been on and gettin excited since it happened on Friday . But also i updated everything Saturday morning and my buddy said it happened one time as soon as I got in the
    party and it hasn't done It Since . ( sorry for the rambling on and incomplete sentences. I'm tryin typing this from my phone as my kids try to take it out of my hands . Haha )

    Why is my Xbox One Elite Controller not vibrating in Destiny despite vibration being enabled in game and in the App?

    Thanks for the troubleshooting. I am not at home to check but I will when I get home. I have a 3rd party battery pack charger connected to Xbox One, as well as my Astro A40s, and Guitar Hero wireless adapter. Perhaps 1 or a combination is causing the
    problem. I will follow up! Astro a40s/ new adapter problem and battery life :)

    Microsoft will be making a small adapter so the astro a40s will work with the One.
