Astro A40s and Xbox One Headset Adapter

I am having issues receiving game audio from my mixamp. I am currently only receiving audio when the headset adapter is plugged into my controller. A few days ago I was receiving game audio through the optical cable but now this is not the case. I have updated
the firmware on the mixamp pro but this did not fix the problem. I have followed the instructions on the astro website and the xbox forums to set up and use the headset adapter. I know that it is not an issue with my mixamp because I am able to use my headset
fine via the optical cable on my xbox 360. I am hoping someone may have an answer or is this an issue that has come up following an update?

    :)

Will Current gen headsets work on Xbox One?

I have my Astro A40s and I will hate to not use them for the Xbox One. I noticed the Xbox One controller doesn't have the headphone jack. Will the Xbox One have an adapter which you could use a headset that has the headphone jack?

  3. Xbox One Headset Adapter Problems

So i bought the OFFICIAL XBOX ONE headset adapter for my astro a40s and expecting astro a50s on monday, well it turns out when i speak in game or part chat my friends here a static sound !

THIS IS JUST UNACCEPTABLE FROM MICROSOFT AND XBOX MAKING A HEADSET ADAPTER FOR A PROPRIETARY CONNECTOR THAT DOES NOT EVEN WORK!!! To make it even worse all the proud ASTRO & Turtle Beach users will probably have to wait ages before any kind of patch is put
in place to fix this, It looks like my Astro A50s will start to gain dust just like my A40s have been since XBOX ONE LAUNCH.

It seems like microsoft has picked up the habit of having nothing work right out of the box....... Truly disappointed in Microsoft and Xbox today!
