    New Astro a40 headset with m80 mix amp, mic doesn't work with my elite controller, however works fine on my other controller. Astro support have told to go talk to Xbox about possible fault with controller?

    Astro a40 with m80 doesn't work on elite controller

    have just purchased an Astro a40 headset with m80 mixamp, the mic wasn't working at all. After researching and trying everything, I discovered that it would work in my original controller but not in my new genuine Microsoft elite controller. I talked with
    Astro support and they believe I'd could be a software or hardware issue with my elite controller. Do you have any ideas on what we could do about his? Having spent $400 on a headset and. Nearly $200 on the controller, it would be a shame if they could not

    Got 2 X1 headset adapters, Both dont work...

    was going to suggest updating the controller with the adaptor and headset. plugged in to it. My Astro A40 works great, no issues at all

    Mic doesn't work unless i restart Xbox.

    I have a astro a50 and my previous a40 did the same thing.

    I thought it was the headset but its not.

    I also tried different controllers and only works when i restart the Xbox.

    Astro A40's are better. I tried the Xo sevens but it is a stereo headset for 159.99, Ridiculous. Get Astro A40's or A50's. They are super comfortable they have memory foam and they are one of the best headset manufacturers. And they are Surround sound.
