Astro A-50's And Xbox One Controller Do not get along together for Chat.

If I use my Astro A-50s without chat cable they work awesome, But as soon as I hook up the chat cable I get popping and controller Disconnects all the time. I have sent my Astro A-50's in to Astro to get fixed and they have not found anything wrong with
them either time! So this has got to be a controller issue! It has done it on every controller that I try!

Please help fix this Phil Spencer! Allot of people have this issue!

To me it sounds like a power issue!

all i can say is make sure you update them before using them also if you want the best then go with ASTRO i use ASTRO A40's got them in 2011 and work fine im getting the new GEN 2 astro a40's next week they say they work for ps4 but they work fine with xbox
one you just need a mic cable and chat adaptor the mic cable is £6you can also get wireless astros which are the a50's also if you dont care for 5.1 or 7.1 then the astro a40's built for xbox one and the mix amp is on the controller they are £170 and stereo

Astro A50 issue

I think there was new firmware yesterday, not sure for use on a40 and 50 models.

Any one? Hello! also when I use the controller wired with headset for chat there is no issue as well! Any rechargeable battery pack I use the issue is there! Help!

USB headsets won't work. Unless they are simply powered by USB and use optical for the sound.

If you want fully wireless, there are currently only 2 options, the Stealth 500X and the Elite 800X, both from Turtle beach. If you want surround sound, those two also provide that along with the ASTRO A40's with a Mixamp or the ASTRO A50's. Both the ASTRO's
will need to be tethered to the controller for chat.

There are then many options if you're not too fussed about having surround or wireless. Anything that includes some kind of Xbox One Stereo headset adapter will be fine. Anything with a stereo headset adapter will also allow you to chat as well as hear game
sounds. They have a control that balances between chat and game.

Nope, they don't make an adapter....yet. They actually sent me an email when I asked them and it's gonna be early 2014 before they make it. TB said it's a copyright deal with Ms with the controller. So, "NO" your headsets will "NOT" work!! There's only 2
brand new TB headsets that do work.

I seen a video on youtube on how to splice them together. I done it with the talkback cable I got with my TB Px5's...works perfectly with the xbox one now and just so happens that the turtle beach splice job I done also works with my Astro A40's...

I spliced one cable together, one turtle beach talk back cable to the new xbox one controller and that one cable works for the TB's and the Astro A40's...
