    Hi People,

    i got the Astro40 mixamp. I cant them to work.

    i can hear the sound and i can control the sound. but My xbox one cant recognize my headphones? why ii can hear the sound but the de mic.

    I am a few different Astro headsets and though could be an issue with the headset it's self, I would recommend plugging the controller in with out the headset to the Xbox and seeing if it needs an update. If it does, that could be the issue keeping the
    mic from working. If it does not, you would need to contact Astro and find a way to get the head phones replaced and or find a way to test the headphones on a different controller to see if they work. Hope that helps and you are able to get back to gaming

    Astro A-40 aren't working

    I had this same problem. Spoke to astro, they said its due to the xbox one updates and I would need to purchase a 2013 mixamp or astro a50, so the mixamp can be updated. Not sure which mixamp u got but if you have a 2013. Go to the astro website and download
    the update.

    Just so I understand your setup correctly:

    You have a PS4 connected to a Astro A40 Mixamp Pro, and you feed DTS to that Mixamp?

    And you do NOT use such a Mixamp on the Xbox One?

    Or what exactly prevents you from using that Mixamp with DTS on the Xbox One as well, so you don't have to switch the sound format?

    I tried Turtle Beach's X41. That was awful. Tritton's AX Pro had hiss. Astro A30/A40 and the MixAmp and MixAmp 5.8? No issues.
