Assistance with XBOX enforcement action given to my son

    This is the 2nd enforcement action given to my 9 year old son. I monitor his account well and haven't seen anything he has done that is in the action. I need to speak to someone about exactly what caused this action. you send out these emails that could
    be a wide variety of reasons, you can't take the time to be specific when you are accusing someone? This account engaged in inappropriate communications. This activity may include harassment, abusive language, hate speech, profanity, disruptive or offensive
    language, spamming, or other inappropriate uses of Xbox Live communications features. Temporary suspension impact: For the duration of the suspension this account cannot use Xbox Live communication features, including in-game and party chat, messaging, video
    communications, gameplay broadcasting, sharing content, and Skype on Xbox One. Permanent suspension impact: This account can no longer sign in to Xbox Live from any device. This enforcement affects the account's Xbox Live privileges. So with these kind of
    accusations against my son, I need someone to immediately get in touch with me and to back up the claim made against him.

  2. Enforcement Action Assistance

    If you were banned for one day or 24 hours there is nothing you can do. However if the suspension was longer then a day you can file to have your case reviewed by the enforcement team. That way they can hear your side of the story. If you are interested
    in doing this Here is how to do it.

    You will need to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com sign in and click the orange hammer in the top left of the site.This will take you to your enforcement history page. Find the current enforcement effecting your
    account. Next to it on the right you should see a link that say submit a case review. Click on that and follow the prompts.

    In case the instructions are a bit confusion, here is a link to a video showing you how to file a case review as well.

    You say this however, I am aware of a case from one of my friends whereby they received a 30 day suspension, and when the submitted a case review, they were not contacted by the enforcement team for almost a week after submitting the review. What made this
    worse is they submitted a second review for the suspension that they had received and they didn't actually receive any way to be able to present their ide of the story until the suspension was actually completed by which point it was completely irrelevant.
    So yes although the enforcement team is meant to contact a person regarding their case review so that they can present their side of the story and give reasoning for why exactly they were suspended, more often than not there is no response from the members
    of the enforcement team meaning that in a large number of cases there is no way for the player to give their side of the story and present their case to the enforcement team with the hope of being able to have the suspension removed from their account.

  5. Thank you for answering Smwutches, but I tried to file a case review. When I follow the directions and go to my enforcement actions there isn't a place to click to file a review. I'll admit i'm not a technical guru, but I usually can follow the directions
    which were straight forward but the things they tell me to do were not available.

  6. Not all suspensions are eligible for a case review. If that is the case with your son's account, there's nothing else that can be done other than sitting out the rest of the ban duration.

    This sounds like a communication ban, so provided that the "temporary impact" is in effect, your son will still have access to multiplayer games, but all communicative features are disabled for the account (headset, text messages, Skype, etc).

    Generally retaliation can't be appealed because there is no justification for breaking the rules regardless of who started it

    And no saying he started it is not a valid excuse nor does.it excuse your nephews actions
    There was no retaliation that is what I am questioning.
