Assistance with technical issue of game not downloading.

I'm downloading Mortal Kombat 1 for Xbox Series X and when I first install it for the first time, it stops, I managed to get to 60gb after changing disc 1 to disc 2 as there are 2 disc's and managed to get to 88gb but then it stops at 60gb and repeatedly is. I need help of what is going on.

Have you tried to reset your console?

Please, follow these steps:

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Select Reset and keep my games & apps.

Have you tried a factory reset keeping games and apps?

We have tried that but it keeps saying needs to be online but we can't get it online as it says it needs to update the console, which we can't do as we can't get online!

We're at a loss with it so would appreciate what could be wrong/what we need to do.
