Assistance, suggestions anyone.

I'm having a chat headset issue. I got my Xbox One on April 18th.

I get no sound from the earphone in-game or when I playback a voice message before I send it.

I've gone through all the steps that are suggested by the support page and the headset works, thanks to the Skype test.

It recorded my voice and played it back through the earphone.

If I start a party, my icon lights up when I talk.

But with the headset plugged in whilst in-game online, none of the other players voices comes from the headphone. If I disconnect the headset, thier voices come through the T.V.

I've got no idea what is going on, so any help from anywhere would be great. Thanx.

You would sound NEW to people if you choose one of those thats for sure. But I am not sure if that would be in a good or bad way

 

Which headset are you using?

Try to be as specific as possible.

Do you use it with the Earphones Adaptor pad or do you plug the headphones jack directly into your controller?

 

The chat headset that comes with the console. It connects to the controller, no adapters.

To add, I can hear voice messages but no in-game communications.

When you're on the XBox HOME screen if you press Left on the D Pad this calls up a mini menu that has your gamertag at the top, friends list, party chat etc....

As you go down you will find "Voice Settings" or "Chat Settings".

Have a fiddle about with those and see if it makes a difference.
