Assistance Required for Account Recovery and Game Access

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Xbox Community. I'm sorry to hear that your account has been blocked. If you receive the message “Your account is currently unavailable" when you try to access your Microsoft account, your account might have been temporarily blocked due to unusually large traffic volume, suspicious activity, or a violation of the Microsoft Services Agreement or code of conduct.

If you know your password, but have lost access to some, but not all, of your security info:

1. Sign in to the Advanced security options page of your Microsoft account.

2. Select Add a new way to sign in or verify then choose how you would like to receive security codes.

3. Microsoft will send a security code to the new number or email to confirm. Enter that code when prompted and then select Next.

4. Select and expand the security info / verification option you have lost and select Remove.

5. Select Remove again to confirm.

To check your account status or reactivate your account, go to the Microsoft services account reinstatement page: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=874120

After filling out and submitting the form, please allow Microsoft to review the information that you shared for at least 24-72 hours. Please monitor the contact email address that you used, including the junk and the spam folder for possible response.

If you did not receive a response from Microsoft or you have account specific questions, I would recommend that you contact Xbox support for your profile to be checked further. You may follow these steps:

Go to https://support.xbox.com/contact-us

Verify that you are within the support window listed under Contact hours.

Click "Contact Us."

Choose the item from the drop-down menu that best addresses your issue.

View the support articles that are offered on the page to see if they can address your issue. If you need more help, click See contact options.

Choose the option to "Chat online" or "Request a call" on the following screen, then fill in the required information.

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be able to assist you any further with this. I understand how frustrating it is to lose access to an account, however, you must keep your account's security information up-to-date for the recovery process to be effective.

you should always update account phone numbers as soon as you know they are to be changed, also setup alternative recovery email addresses and make a note of the account recovery code. support are not able to assist due to 2fa as they cannot access that.

No. As I have exampled above, account recovery is not possible under any circumstance, because the email was changed. The above process requires access to your account. If you can't access your account, you can't change the email back.

I'm afraid only way to recover an Xbox account is via the account recovery form here https://account.live.com/password/reset

You can try all the emails and phone numbers you remember. Those are 2 required items for account recovery unfortunately.

For the subscription being charged to the account, Microsoft refund policy states that if you don't have access to the account, your bank should be contacted for cancellation/refunds. Apologies for the inconvenience
