Assistance Needed With Swapping Account email/ Xbox account

So I've searched it up a bit and I still need help with this. So I have an Xbox account with xbox live that I've been using. I tried to change the email over to another a few years back but ended up just making another account on that email instead. Now
I have two xbox accounts with different emails and not on what I want.

So I want my main email that I use daily to be on my primary Xbox live account. I don't know how to do this though since my xbox account is attached to a different email address and the main email is attached to a xbox account that
I made by mistake by trying to switch it. It's a real pain since I just want my email swapped over and have no clue how to do this properly. Any help would be appreciated guys. I've had no luck getting this to work right.

(By the way, this is the account I made by mistake trying to switch it)

No email needed for a guest account, it works same as it did on 360. Anyone can use voice commands regardless of having an account.

Swapping email accounts

When you sign into an account with no gamertag on xbox.com or your console you will be prompt with a message "To create an Xbox profile--> New Gamertag" Most likely you accepted the terms with your new email. Next time cancel the process or do not sign
on to xbox.com or your console at all after you have created a new account. I recommend you create the account online rather than on the xbox.

Step 1) Create a new account. Do not sign into Xbox.com or the console with this account.or it will prompt you to create a new profile(gamertag).

Here is the overview after completing step 1.

Gamertag A (Main Gamertag) is linked to Microsoft account 1 (Old Email).

Gamertag B (2nd Gamertag) is linked to Microsoft account 2 (2nd Email)

Microsoft account 3 is free. (new email)

Step 2) Sign on to xbox with your main account. Change the email associated with the NEW ACCOUNT

Gamertag A (Main Gamertag) is linked to Microsoft account 3 (new Email).

Gamertag B (2nd Gamertag) is linked to Microsoft account 2 (2nd Email)

Microsoft account 1 is free. (old email )

You should be done at this point.

Couple of questions to get a good bearing and see if we can do this for you.

1. The email that you want on your xbox profile is it a Microsoft server email (@Hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com, @outlook.com)? If yes then what you want done can not be done because it will close that email out and you would not be able to get back into
it. So if it is a Microsoft server email DO NOT go any further. there would be nothing that can be done for you.

2. If it is not a MS server email do you use it for anything else to do with MS for instance windows 10 computer, office 365 subscription, Skype? if so you can cancel the office 365 sub and put it onto the other account.

If none of the scenarios above apply to you then follow these steps.

to streamline things we will go with the following

Account A will be the account that has the email that you want to keep

Account B will be the account that you want that email on

1. sign into account A at account.live.com/addassocid and choose create a new email (outlook account) and just pick a random one to put into the box. Once thats created and added to account A then you can make the new email the primary email and remove the
old email from that account. which will then free it up to be put onto account B NOW Remember do not do this if it is a MS server email because once its removed from the account there is no getting it back.

2. Once the email you want on your new account is freed up you can then sign out of that website and sign back in with account B at the account.live.com/addassocid and this time choose the option to add an existing email they will then send you a verification
email to verify that you have access to that email once you verify it you can then make that email the primary email for account B and remove the old email.

I see, they are both a Hotmail.com email actually. That is a shame but there is another email I have that can be used if this is the case. From what you said, a gmail.com email should work just fine am I correct? I can just use that
as Account B? Account A would be the Hotmail.com email with everything on it correct (xbox live, information, ect.)? If I read correctly, would removing the old email cause no more messages and such to be sent to that email any longer since it is no longer
around once removed?
