Assistance Needed with Minecraft License Recovery – Inaccessible Microsoft Account

I already tried to contact the chat support.

They said that the only way is to fill out that form to recover my account.

But I have been trying it for months without a success.

The reason is that the form asked me funny questions such as;

My Skype contacts and information which I used 15 years ago. How can I remember?

The outlook contacts and email subjects. Again how can I remember?

The card information when I was purchasing the game. Again this card was my previous card and not sure if everyone needs to remember their previous card information.

All in all filling that form is very challenging and expecting the people remember those information is unrealistic.

But I don't want to repurchase the game. Please help

I can only recommend that you contact Microsoft's online support staff to ask for help, and provide as much information as possible to prove that you are the owner of this email account, you can click on this link and follow the step-by-step instructions below to contact them. 1). First, enter "MSA" in the search box and then click "Get help" then click "Sign in to contact support" at the bottom of the page.

2). Currently logged in to another valid Microsoft account. (Please make sure you sign in with your personal Microsoft account, not your work and school account, or you won't see option 3、4、5.)

3). Under "Products & Services", select "Other Products".

4). Under Category, select "Manage account security" and then click Confirm.

5). Click Chat with a support agent in your web browser.

I understand your partner had his Microsoft account hacked and deleted, which caused the Minecraft account to become inaccessible. You’re hoping to either recover access to the original Minecraft account or reclaim the sentimental username. Is that correct?

Was the Microsoft account permanently deleted? If the account was deleted less than 60 days ago, it might still be recoverable. But after 60 days, Microsoft permanently removes the account and all associated services, including Minecraft. To try recovering the account, use this form:

Your partner should fill this out using the original Microsoft email address and as much accurate information as possible.

Minecraft accounts are tied to Microsoft accounts. Since the migration in 2021, all Minecraft Java Edition accounts are linked to Microsoft accounts. If the Microsoft account is gone, the Minecraft license tied to it is also lost. Unfortunately, Mojang does not support transferring licenses to a new account.

Why the Minecraft username still appears in use. Minecraft usernames don’t immediately free up after an account is deleted. They’re usually held for 37 days after a name change or deletion, but sometimes longer. If the username is still in use, it could mean the account hasn’t been fully removed or the name hasn’t been released.

Can you get the username back? Only if it becomes available again. Here's what you can do:

Create a new Microsoft account.

Purchase Minecraft again if you want to play.

Try to claim the old username when setting up the new Minecraft profile:

Suggested steps:

If you signed in with a new Microsoft account on your PS5, you will not be able to access your old Minecraft account that was linked to your previous Microsoft account.

To access your old Minecraft account, you will need to sign in to your PS5 with your old Microsoft account credentials. If you cannot remember your password, you can try to reset it using the Microsoft Account Recovery page.

If you are still unable to access your old Minecraft account, you may need to contact Minecraft support for further assistance. They may be able to help you recover your account or link your new Microsoft account to your old Minecraft account.

I'm not sure how you created an account. If a Microsoft account was deleted, you shouldn't be able to create one with the same alias and domain name. With regards on the Minecraft license recovery, I suggest you reach out to Minecraft Support to help you out in tracing your Minecraft License.
