Assassins glitch?

Hi. i have a glitch in NV whenever i go anywhere near the REPCONN HQ. There's a bridge off to one side, towards a couple of NCR troops behind some sand bags. Whenever i go near there 4 Legion Legendary Assassins turn up and kill me and anyone else who happens
to be near me at the time.

They are really hard to kill. I did manage to kill them all once but they all keep respawning. And it's not just there (before someone says"well don't go there")...anywhere in approx half a square mile of that general area they can pop up at any time.

I'm hated by the Legion (i think), but does anyone know how i can stop these guys popping up? they just hammer me every time. I tried wiping out their camp (together with the NCR) but that didn't stop them.

No its not.

Everyone calls Assassins Creed, Assassins Creed. People don't call it Assassins. With Gears of War, most people do just call it Gears.

Its like Call of Duty just going to COD.

 

Anyone else fed up of games forcing multi-player down our throats?

Also tired of forced MP achievements for "MP Discovery" in games such as Assassins Creed: Brotherhood, Assassins Creed: Revelations, Assassins Creed 3, Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag. See a trend?

 

They are supposed to appear, its not a glitch, and while you're hated by the legion, assassins will be looking for you, one thing you could try is wearing brotherhood armour or another faction armour when you go to repconn headquarters. Or alternatively
just get better weapons and when they approach just kill them, what level are you?

 

Hi Jack. can't remember - but it's my 2nd play through. pretty sure i didn't have this before. And it's always there - even though i wiped the bu88gers out once already. I just have combat armour on. they are tough though - i can normally take down 1 or
2, but hen there's 4 of them i have very little chance!

 

Hmm, can't remember if I've ever had that problem myself, have you tried to wear faction armour to see if it affects your chances? Also, have you already been to New Vegas and had the chance to reset all your faction reputations? Download the gun runners
arsenal and wipe them out is another option dude haha

 

Hey mpl911, I ran into a problem similar to what you were experiencing. I was trying to do the quest that involves the NCR Troops at that little checkpoint you are talking about. The Legion Assassins showed up and killed the NCR Troops first then attacked
me. I reloaded my save and managed to head them off and get them. My memory is a little fuzzy but I swore I thought that there were more than the usual amount of assassins. I don't think they were continually respawning though. If you don't have a follower
to soak up some of the bullets then I would recommend reloading a earlier save file.

Jackrevenant, when the assassins are sent after you I am pretty sure that wearing their factions armor will have no influence on their actions.

The easiest solution I could think of would be to try and fast travel out of the location if you can.

Assassins are more likely to appear near repconn as its their original spawn point.
