I was actually going to avoid this thread, especially after the balaclava , nappy and banana comments but curiosity got the better of me.

I have not read all the posts here, but, some games campaigns should remain single player, Assassins Creed is one, in my opinion.

evil, I hope the campaign does stay SP. I know I suggested the invade a game sort of thing but if they did add that, we could always turn it off I guess. I just like the idea of hunting someone mid-mission lol

As for a sailing only game, as much fun as it was to be a pirate I would need more than just sailing as I really enjoyed the basics back in AC2 but I would sure welcome it if it came regardless.

The co-op experiences for AC Unity and AC Black Flag are a bit different.

For AC Black Flag, there isn't co-op in the single player campaign. Instead, there is a separate 4-player co-op game mode called Wolfpack that is accessible from the main game menu. In this mode your missions involve working together to assassinate a target.

For AC Unity, the co-op experience is a bit more varied. There is co-op in the normal campaign but there are some restrictions. First off you won't able to access the co-op until after memory sequence 2. And then after that co-op is only available in free
roam around the city as well as special co-op missions and heists, so the single player story missions are not included and cannot be accessed while in co-op. There is no restriction however on story progress, so anyone can join your co-op session as long
as they are past sequence 2.

Can't wait to get more details on this, I'm all about co-op campaigns, especially when they are done right.

I was excited when I heard AC3 would get a 4P co-op mode, wolf pack, but it really was an extension of MP and in general AC MP is not well done.

So to hear there will be an actual story should be great. Since this is for Next Gen only, it should push the boundaries of what last Gen games should do. I got real excited when I got confirmation that Halo 3 & Gears of War 3 would have 4P co-op. Same when
I heard Resident Evil & Fable would have 2P co-op.

I'm sure the game won't be constrained to only 4P and won't be to confined.

I agree with iBakez though, four can be a crowd when in the wrong game. I would of preferred 2 but without even playing it yet, I cant really say much else other than I am looking forward to seeing how it works.
