What do we know about
Assassin's Creed: Unity so far? One, that it's taking place in 18th Paris, and two, it's set to launch on new generation consoles only. Oh, and if recent rumours are to believed, it'll feature a four-player story-led co-op mode. How about that.

The co-op experiences for AC Unity and AC Black Flag are a bit different.

For AC Black Flag, there isn't co-op in the single player campaign. Instead, there is a separate 4-player co-op game mode called Wolfpack that is accessible from the main game menu. In this mode your missions involve working together to assassinate a target.

For AC Unity, the co-op experience is a bit more varied. There is co-op in the normal campaign but there are some restrictions. First off you won't able to access the co-op until after memory sequence 2. And then after that co-op is only available in free
roam around the city as well as special co-op missions and heists, so the single player story missions are not included and cannot be accessed while in co-op. There is no restriction however on story progress, so anyone can join your co-op session as long
as they are past sequence 2.

Depends what's meant by "story-led co-op"... could well be the same as the co-op mode is now, but with a bit of babble at the start of sessions...

Yeah, the one where 4 of you work together to take out targets and complete objectives.... Wolfpack is it?

 

Never ventured into the MP side of things, not even taken a peek! learn summat every day!

 

Wolfpack is Okay, if they made the whole game like that tho that would suck. A 2 player story driven campaign would have interested me more. 4 players in a stealth game doesnt usually end well.

 

I said this elsewhere but I think 2 player MP would be better for co-op. I like the idea of more co-op especially if they are leaning more to MP now which seems to be the case this gen / late last gen. I will reserve judgement for now until I have played
it or more info is released but yeah, 2 player seems better suited at thought.

 

AC campaigns should remain single player in my opinion.

 

Oh without a doubt ^ the campaign should. I mean I wouldn't shoot down the idea of being able to enter someones elses campaign and try to take them out, that would be fun.

 

I would be up for doing unspeakable things to anyone who invaded a campaign of mine and ruined it for fun.

 

I don't mind co-op in these types of games but first it's a run through on my own, taking my time, exploring etc.

I love just taking my time on games, chilling out, regular tea breaks
