    Assassins Creed: Unity reviews starting to pop up


    Played a couple of hours and had frame rate drops, NPC walking over invisible boxes, weird screen pulses and fell through the map, loaded a couple of videos to my feed. Apart from that it's good!

    You haven't even played it. At least not on that gamertag.

    The AI is bad in this game sometimes, lol. I was playing it earlier and there was a loot crate that was being defended by 3 guards. I climbed a building and dropped down on top of the crate, so I was standing like 2 feet from a guard who was looking right
    at me, but he didn't see me until I stepped off it. I did a roll on the floor, but I was still right in front of them when I did it and one of the guards said something like "where's he gone?", haha. I'm right here rolling about on the floor in broad daylight

    Yep I have had quite few moments like that, the AI is worse than previous AC games by a mile. Game has soooooo many bugs and glitches it ain't real.

    I'm not too far into this, probably around 5-6 hours but other than once when chasing an enemy the framerate stuttered for a few seconds and had a couple of messages saying that I've been disconnected from the Ubisoft servers but other than this I've noticed
    no problems at all!

    Just wondering, now I'm playing a disk version, my cousin who downloaded it has had a lot more issues, wondering if the digital version might be worse? just throwing a thought out there.

    Glad ignores some of the reviews I'm enjoying the game a lot. Norway detail on the buildings huge crowds.

    I'm enjoying it quite a lot. Its a very immersive story, and my friends keep pointing out that I seem to go fairly quiet while playing.

    Sigma, that's good to know. Do we have patch notes on that yet buddy or haven't they said? I will have a little peek round for them later if I get the chance.

    Fatal you do lol! You go very quiet, which means it has your attention! Though I get like that myself on these sorts of games too.

    My first impressions of it are actually good, but I've only played it for about 45 minutes. I haven't experienced any bugs yet, but obviously it's very early days. The framerate did dip quite badly at one point when I was running through the streets, although
    it only lasted 2-3 seconds before it went back to normal ("normal" is not exactly great though, but the game is definitely playable).

    The only thing I didn't like are the chests that you can't open unless you use the companion app. It's a really cheap way to get you to do that and I hope they patch that requirement out.

    Obviously, the game does have issues and many players are experiencing game-breaking bugs, but hopefully Ubisoft will do their best to fix it. There's supposedly another patch in the works that fixes some stuff.

    Def I would be careful with FC4 or if anything don't do a day one purchase. I played a demo just over a month ago and the frame rate made for a laggy experience. I was that disappointed with its performance that I was wondering why they would even let people
    play it.
