I did think that, but the same expectations from a publisher.....

I'd say wait for other Ubisoft Titles to release. Rogue is getting good reviews. Will Far Cry have stupid companion app stuff. What about The Crew? Hopefully this is just an isolated F Up and not whats to become of Ubisoft.

 

You know all I heard about this was 'Coop Assassins Creed' and nothing else after that. There was no hype about this for me, so it's actually quite easy to skip. Especially with all the other games out right now and to be honest, I had no idea this was releasing!

 

Funny. I just watched a review where they suggests we. "Vote with our cash and avoid this title altogether." ... Something about 20FPS (Often less) on every platform including High End Gaming PC's.

 

I'm so excited for Far Cry next week, I'm also excited for a bunch of issues to plague the game......I'll wait on Assassins Creed, never was a have to have title for me at release.

 

Just found out that Ubisoft hid the microtransactions from review copies. On top of the embargo they are in deep ish today. At least Rogue is good.

 

My copy from Gamefly will be arriving tomorrow. I was never particularly hyped for this game. I suspected it would have some technical issues. That's why I don't support annual releases. But I'll play it and probably enjoy it. But it's going to be sitting
around a while before I even start it.

There's no way I would be able to finish before I start playing Dragon Age on Monday. And however long it takes me to finish every little thing in that game, Far Cry comes next, and when I finish that GTA will still be waiting. Hopefully that gives them
enough time to patch up Unity a bit before I get to it.

[/quote]Game is running like trash regardless of platform. I can't say for Paris because I haven't fully downloaded the game yet but in the first area my GTX 980 is struggling to hold 60 FPS and is having horrible drops (Especially when the "cutscenes" happen;
Went as low as 22 fps). Turning on AA besides FXAA results in 20-45 fps. It's kind of a joke when the game doesn't even look "next gen" and I could go on for days about the constant NPC pop in and NPCs randomly changing outfits and models entirely. It's
an embarrassing entry to the series.

 

I was going to pre-order this, but I'm glad I got Far Cry 4 instead.

 

Def I would be careful with FC4 or if anything don't do a day one purchase. I played a demo just over a month ago and the frame rate made for a laggy experience. I was that disappointed with its performance that I was wondering why they would even let people
play it.

 

ThaNks for the heads up. Ubi has been going down hill for a while now so I expect their games to be mediocre but to be honest I only get far cry for its map editor. I know it sounds crazy but its true. I love spending days on something I made.

I can't wait for the Division, you know its going to be one of the biggest disappointments in gaming history, sadly.

 

Ubisoft has been disappointing me lately.

 

I'm not worried about Far Cry at all. I'll be picking up my pre-order on Tuesday. Like I said earlier, I won't be able to play it for a while. But when I do I know it's going to be awesome.
