Assassin's Creed Unity Not Playing

Iv had the same digital download problem. I could play both assassins crees unity and black flag for xbox one for about a week now anytime I try to play my screen goes black and nothing happens but I can still go back to the menu and launch netflix. Iv uninstalled
both but nothing seems to work. I'd like to get ahold of microsoft directly for this annoyingly inconvenient problem and complain. Can anyone help me?

Hi Gabels! I have two potential suggestions on this. First, have you performed a hard restart? This is the most common fix for any issues, including black screen problems. To do this, you'll hold the power sensor for 8-10 seconds, wait for the power brick
to turn orange, then unplug the power brick for 5-10 minutes, and finally, plug back in and start up.

Also, another solution has been listed which SOUNDS like it wouldn't work, but in fact does. Press the menu button on your controller, go to Settings -> Disc & Blu Ray, and then choose "Clear Persistent Storage" under that menu. I have even heard that it
helps to repeat this process three times, to fully clear the storage. Now, it lists that under "Blu Ray" but I have seen this work even for games, not just movies.

The same has happened to me. press start on ACU and the screen goes black. I'll try the Hard restart.
