Assassin's Creed Unity for Xbox 360.

Whilst I fully understand peoples opinions I do think at some point gamers will have to make the jump into next Gen sooner or later,



And I disagree that Assassins Creed unity should be released on previous generation consoles, I believe Ubi's decision was a step in the right direction as this keeps the exclusivity for the next instalment but that aside what people have to remember
is there is also technical ramifications in trying to port a game of that magnitude .



The XBOX 360 architecture would not be able to cope with running a game from which the buildings alone such as the bastille has been built on a 1.1 scale 5 million NPC's plus the seamless game play ! Assassins Creed Unity has been designed
on development kits given to Ubi by MS solely for Next Generation consoles because of the architecture of the XBOX ONE and the PS4.



A game like that will just be a complete mess on the 360.



But Ubisoft have confirmed that they have not forgotten about last Generation players .

 

I agree with CODukes4. If the developers keep trying to put games on both generations of consoles, on all platforms, we are going to see inferior games on both sides, as well as longer wait times for new games to be released.

 

does it take mroe tiem to make games for ps3 and xbxo 360 maybe that's why they can always label and put xbox 360 for assassin creeds unity

 

Plus, doesn't Ubisoft know that there missing over 100,000 dollars not putting the game on xbox 360 and ps3

 

It's good to see they aren't selling out and just pushing out weak ports to make profits.

You might want to do a number crunch btw...100,000 is peanuts. That wouldn't cover the salary of the extra development team.

It's time to open up the check books, make a couple 50% bonus trade ins, and join us on Next Gen. Why continue to pay $60 for an inferior 360 game when you can pay $60 for a beautiful xbox one game?

i see where you are coming from but in order to make really great games studios can't always make everybody happy :/

 

The current-gen consoles can't handle the massive mob and AI operating here. AC: Unity runs on an all-new engine that the XBOX360 can't handle. If you're okay with 10fps gameplay...well. To put it simply, it's gonna look and be like *** when it's released
on the 360. Have Rogue instead.

 

Well, they will launch it on Xbox 360 and PS3. They just say "Buy it of Xbox one of PS4" because they make more money off of it. You have my word, Xbox will do everything they can to get it on 360 too.

If they can't, it will be because of the new tech ubisoft is using. Ubisoft might only make it for Next-Gens because of the Cloud. Sorry, dude I have a xbox one just because I saved my money. Assassin's creed unity will be awesome and you better start saving
your money!

 

I think that this is likely why Ubisoft is releasing Assassin's Creed: Rogue on the 360; to give 360 users a game to play. There are plenty of games that don't get released on every console. I, for one, would like to see the Nintendo only games released
on WP or XBLA like Liberation, but some games will simply be released only for a given console.

 

It boils down to this. Ubisoft went full fledged into make this a next gen experience. The xbox 360 and ps3 simply can't handle this game. That is the reason why it will not be released on those systems. You guys will get AC Rogue. They haven't forgotten
about you.

 

yes it should come out on the xbox 360, the other one did, so, it should be this one

 

i would love all the assassins creed games on xbox 360 coz i dont have money for xbox one
