Assassin's Creed: Unity delayed to ensure "exceptional" results

Assassin's Creed: Unity will release a whole two weeks later than originally planned, Ubisoft has announced - it's now out on 11th November in the US and 13th November in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, with details for other regions presumably to follow.

what can an additional 2 weeks really do though?

 

To be honest I was thinking the same. Granted I don't know how it all works but 2 weeks? 2 months yes but like you said, what can really be done in that time?

I'm guessing it will be for other reasons, maybe other games due at the same time that they don't want to go directly up against?

 

I know almost nothing about this game - what exactly is it that makes this Assassin's Creed stand out compared to every other AC game?

EDIT: My mistake, I'm thinking of Rogue. What makes AC: Rogue stand out from every other AC game?

 

Isn't Rogue basically Black Flag 2?

They need more than a couple than a couple weeks. Can I get an additional year? Ridiculous that AC is a yearly release. And 2 games coming out in the same month.

And I am a AC Fan!

or they really think we are dumb enough to believe that.

 

Either way, they need to space the games out a little more. I love Assassins Creed, but this has become a blatant cash grab. 2 games releasing almost simultaneous... for a total of 13 games in 7 years. Craziness if you ask me.

 

Yeah, Rogue is basically BF2 and I'm okay with that since I loved BF. I'll be renting Rogue and buying Unity. Let's not forget about Black Friday a couple weeks after. I managed to snag AC4 for 30 on BF.

 

Unity is going to rock! Can't wait for that coop AC.

 

I think they should really delay another week. This will be going head to head with Halo and The Crew. I don't really see The Crew giving it any competition, but Halo on the other will be an issue.

 

I'm not complaining. I'll get both too though Rouge not until later probably.
