Seriously, never forget. It was one of the biggest launch debacles in gaming history. When your only mode (single player) is broken.... that is terrible

I'm quite happy with Blackflag. I've put the franchise to bed. Quitting while I'm ahead.

 

My missus is still a diehard fangirl for the AC games so I'll be playing this as well. Oh god, that face glitch scared the crap outta me! I closed the video when I saw Elise's face lol. I honestly didn't experience any glitches playing Unity. I thought it
was a superb game. My only complaint would have been, why were there so many chests?! It helped me get bloody rich, but when you have all legendary armor sets it's like.. I'm too rich yo lol.

 

Don't get me wrong I enjoyed Unity but it says it all that I didn't play it until about five months after release (even though it was sitting on my drive ready to go) and even then I did encounter some glitches, And even for AC standards the AI was as
dumb as they come.

 

I am an AC fan. But they truly need to slow them down.

 

Lol the AI were incredibly stupid. I remember on one assassination mission I was infiltrating a mansion to kill this Madame what's her face and the place is crawling with guards. Like 100 guards, it said in the beginning of the mission. I shoulda been spotted
so many times, but I didn't lol. Oh and when I was so close to assassinating her, I see a guard by her so I'm just like yolo, run straight at her and get the kill the target undetected optional objective and the guard was looking straight in my direction XD
Yeah, the AI were just plain bad. I played it end of January according to my achievements. Weird that you got glitches.. it must be random I guess. That or a later patch they released must have messed it up a bit. I know at launch it was terrible and people
rage quit the series after.

Can't wait for this reveal later doe! Looking forward to assassinating Brits again in my girlfriend's hometown.

 

I watched the reveal, can't say I'm impressed. It looked like the same rehashed game play that's been plaguing the franchise for awhile now.

 

^^ Well duh. If they change it anymore, it wouldn't be AC now would it? To me, it's like going from BF to Rogue/BF 2.0. Improved mechanics. It looks like Unity 2.0 with a few new tricks up its sleeve. I like how you can climb a roof in seconds now. It's
certainly got my interest as I quite enjoyed Unity. I didn't hear anything about MP, but I hope they bring it back. After I beat the crap outta Unity, there was nothing to go back to and MP was a nice change of pace in the previous games.

I lost interest in the AC games a while ago, but I must say this one looks good and I may have to consider getting it. Will be keep my eye on this one.

 

I'm really looking forward to this one. I skipped Unity so I'm up for a new AC adventure.

 

It looks pretty good to me. I like this historic period. I've only played now three of the AC games, so this series still works well for me as relief from my modern/future warfare fatigue.

 

@ Defy, yea you ain't kidding, I had loads of dumb AI moments like that, only glitches really were body skaters and. Elastic bodies, no floating eyeballs. I did think the free running was improved, but he still had his moments when a six inch platform
was a problem and the odd unexpected angle jump! Will still buy the next one just not at launch.

 

The chariots chase looks and feels...weird,mostly like it was a sport cars chase.

But yeah,from last year Unity and this new AC didn't saw anything "mind blowing" or really new.
